Former student Navid Ali is excelling in his role as a designer with Kelloholm-based Browns Food Group, the recent graduate returning to the college along with his employers to speak with Visual Communication students and talk about his career pathway and the opportunities available in the industry.
The talented designer, who was the college’s Creative Industries Student of the Year last year, has been a revelation after beginning his role with Browns, who have hailed the impact Navid has made at the company since joining them.
Navid said:
“It was great to visit the college and meet the students and staff. I had a great time studying there and learned valuable skills that have helped me immensely in the workplace.”
College Principal Joanna Campbell said:
“Everyone at Dumfries and Galloway College was pleased to welcome back Navid and also Browns Food Group for a fantastic visit. Navid’s hard work and dedication are paying off and hopefully, he can inspire our students who aspire to make an impact after graduating.”
