“The Special Recognition Award demonstrates the dedication, passion, and innovation that has developed our curriculum in support of this.”
DGC Student Association were delighted to win the Social Enterprise Award, which recognises an innovative team of students that have created a social enterprise project or activity who can demonstrate a charitable or social enterprise-focused activity as part of a college group/project.

“This recognition is a testament to the impact of the work we have carried out over the year to support our students.
“We are grateful for the opportunities Bridge 2 Business provide to both the Student Association as well as the wider college and students.”
The Bridge 2 Business Enterprise Awards are a celebration of ‘all things enterprise’ across colleges in Scotland, designed to recognise and reward students, educators and individuals who are leading the way in enterprise.
Bridge 2 Business is Scotland’s leading enterprise programme within colleges and its aim is to get more students thinking about business start-up and to help develop their skills.
Joanna Campbell, DGC Principal, said: “The awards for both Kerry and our Student Association are richly deserved and recognise the tireless and inspiring work of staff and students across our campuses.”
