Net Zero Business Opportunities for Dumfries and Galloway Event

We are hosting an event as part of Business Week 2024; join us and our special guests as we consider the business opportunities within our region in the transition to net zero.

Net Zero – what does this mean for my business and for the community I live in?
If you want to find out how you can make a contribution and play an active part in the journey to Net Zero come and attend this event on 23 September.
You will hear from organisations including Zero Waste Scotland, Retrofit Academy, Armstrong Watson, DG Climate Hub, Net Zero Nation, Dumfries & Galloway Chamber of Commerce, Business Gateway and others.

No matter whether you are a local plumber looking to gain skills to install heat pumps or you are a community group wishing to put the Circular Community Toolbox into practice, this event will get you on your way.

The half-day summit includes:

  • Sessions on how to access free training at the College’s Net Zero Skills Centre.
  • Information on support and funding available to businesses.
  • Advice on how to plan for a net zero transition within your own business.
  • And more…

The free-to-attend event is open to all and includes lunch, afternoon refreshments, a marketplace and networking opportunities.

Spaces are limited, so don’t delay!
