Introduction
This exciting new course has been developed in partnership with local industry to support those looking for employment in the hospitality and tourism industry to find employment.
The course combines certificated short courses, a workplacement with a local employer, information about the roles within this industry and visits to local employers.
The course will focus on front of house roles, including Reception, Serving Food, Serving Drinks and Housekeeping. What is involved in each role and what skills is an employer looking for.

- REHIS Elementary Health & Safety
- REHIS Allergen Awareness
- Highfield Award in Safe Moving and Handling
- Staff Licence Certificate
- Introduction to Hospitality & Tourism Industry
- Work Experience Placement with a Local Employer
