Full Time 2 or 3 days per week, additional hours for work experience and attendance in the evening may be required.
Entry Requirements
- Three National 5 Awards or equivalent, or
- Successful completion of a SCQF Level 5 Sport & Fitness Programme, or
- Other qualifications and/or experience
You will join the PVG scheme (criminal records check) this is to ensure you can continue on your chosen career path as well as attend placement in settings where there may be children or vulnerable adults.
If you are currently studying at Dumfries & Galloway College, you will also require a positive progressing learner reference – which you can demonstrate from good attendance and engagement on your current course.

Once we have received your application you may be given a date and time slot to take part in an interview. This may be face to face or by phone.
It is important that you put effort into your application, using your own words. This allows us to ensure the entry requirements are met and your aspirations and career plan are appropriate for the course and the level of course you have applied for.
When you apply you will be expected to provide positive responses to questions relating to your course choice, your future career, and your previous experiences in sport & fitness.

- Your digital and IT skills will be developed using Teams

Assessment is ongoing throughout the year and includes practical assessments and project work
