Entry Requirements
Suitable for those learners aged 16 or above and have a good level of communication skills.
When applying for this course you will be asked to supply a copy of your ID, which can be either a passport, driving licence, birth certificate or national identity card
You can only study one course at a time.
Course Content
This course is split into 3 manageable units:
Unit 1: Equality and diversity in society
Discover the meaning behind the term ‘equality’ and explore the damaging effects of stereotyping and labelling.
Unit 2: Equality and diversity in the community
Develop an understanding of the extent of diversity that exists within a community and understand the benefits of promoting a culture of equality and diversity.
Unit 3: Equality and diversity in the workplace
Learn how equality and diversity can be promoted and maintained by employees and the benefits of having a dynamic, diverse workforce.
Assessments
This course requires the completion and passing of three tutor marked online unit assessments. Learners are allocated a course tutor who will mark assessments and are able to offer support through the online learning platform.
